The main cable provider in Steamboat Springs is Comcast. This company provides three types of service. Basic service includes local public access and all Denver channels, as well as some cable channels such as Disney, Discovery, TBS, and the Weather Channel. Basic extended service includes all basic channels and an additional 30 channels. Digital service gives residents access to about 150 channels, including pay per view movies, music channels and DMX channels. With a cable plan, residents can get a discount on Broadband Internet service. Residents can sign up for service online at http://comcast.com or by calling (970) 879-7970. Service should start within seven days.
